Ljubljana Report Nov. 12-13, 2016:

LjubljanaLjubljana is a beautiful capital and since it’s not very big, it’s pleasant and worth visiting for tourism.

We were there with 14 people from abroad and from 7 nations to pray. We were hosted by local believers in the place of Campus Crusade for Christ, for worship, prayer and orientation. It became clear to us that we should pray concerning the dragon and its’ influence over the city for a long time. dragon-ljubljanaSince the dragon can also be in the water (a water spirit) as well as the air, we decided to focus our prayer and repentance the first day by the river Ljubljanica.

One team went to the source of the river, where stories said human sacrifice had been made as they prophesied (witchcraft) over the river and where it passed.

The other team went by the river where it separated just before the old town. Both teams brought salt and wine as symbolism of purification of corruption, betrayal and other kinds of evil; as a result of the spiritual influence of the water spirit.

The teams worked and prayed in harmony as one got a vision to pray through, another a scripture, another song, declaration etc. We could really feel the inspiration of the Lord as we were doing His will in prayer.

The second team continued to pray at different places by the river as they strolled down towards the center; at the shoemakers’ bridge which used to be the Jewish quarter, the triple bridge which was by the center down town where we prayed concerning freemasonry. And after a coffee break in the cold weather, both teams met up at the butcher’s bridge with all kind of weird art. And finally we finished at the dragon’s bridge. There we split up in 4 teams, each one taking a dragon and praying to shut the dragon’s mouth and influence in the capital.

The second day we got the plan to pray at the castle before ending at the parliament. At the castle, we split in 4 teams each praying as they were led. A couple of teams prayed about all that had happened in the secret and under the castle which was evil.

One team went to the chapel and the tower. We could all hear them. When they sang in the chapel, the tourists wanted to hear more as they were touched. That’s a good sign. And in the end everybody went to the chapel for some more worship.

Before going to the Town Hall, someone in the team had had a vision of a well being locked up. And surely when we arrived there, there were 2 wells locked and covered with a metal lid on the top. We were encouraged and prayed accordingly, and since we pray something according to His will, we have it.

parliament-ljubljanaFinally we ended up in front of the parliament. Corruption was of course high on the list of things to pray for, but also the distance between the people and the government people. We declared a shift; that the ones who did not govern in the interest of the people would be removed. We prayed that people would rise up, and for government to reach out to the people and their interests. We finished with dancing on the Republic square.

YWAM Lisbon staff and students overlooking Lisbon

On November 5th we flew to Lisbon were we stayed at the YWAM base in Mems Martinz: a suburb of Lisbon. The three members of the international team for the OCE were: Henning Schikora, Beke Kraemer and Steven Hanratty. We met together on the evening of November 6th and we felt God speaking about praying with the YWAM staff and students at the base about reconciliation between the Brazilian members of the base and the Portuguese members of the base. We believed that God wanted to cleanse that relationship as a community and between the two nations internationally. This turned out to be a powerful prayer time with many prophetic acts of forgiveness and reconciliation.

After our prayer time with the YWAM base we spent time praying around Lisbon as an OCE team. Over the next two days we covered most of the significant sites in Lisbon. We felt the history of the King of Portugal, Carlos I, being assassinated by a political group in 1908 was a significant turning point in the leadership of the nation. We also felt that the current political instability had some of its roots in that incident. The stability of the nation both economically and politically became a reoccurring theme throughout our time.

We prayed at:

  • Belem Tower as a gateway in and out of Lisbon
  • Statue to the Discovers and the history on colonialism in Portugal
  • Jeronimos Monastry for the Catholic Church
  • Site of the assassination of the King in the Praça do Comércio
  • Castelo de Sao Jorge for the history of Islam and Christianity in Portugal
  • Parliament Building for the recovery of the economy and stability in leadership.

The final evening we went to church in Lisbon where we felt encouraged to see a vibrant, modern congregation seeking God and doing mission. This was an encouraging evening as we had prayed for these very qualities for the church in Lisbon earlier that same week.

02June 25-29, 2012

At OCE London there were about 20 people in the team and this was added to by The Stable church members making it up to about 40 people. The Walk for Truce, organized by YWAM England Prayer Network and OCE London was just over 100 people. The Stable church in Barnet hosted OCE London and it was a privilege to be taken care of by such a gifted group of people. We had teaching from Victor Lorenzo who spoke on strongholds in Business and Government and brought out several points about the freemasons. David Sladden was our main speaker and he taught on the spiritual history of London which was very insightful. We also had Michael Marcel come and teach on Revival in the UK and he led us on a revival tour of London which was well worth getting through all the traffic for. Worship was led by me (Steven Hanratty) and Vernon Fuller, who did a great job. Thank you to Jennifer Page who did registration for us and other administration jobs: well done Jennifer.

01The first evening Victor Lorenzo spoke on strongholds in London, which was a great way to start and really set us up with the whole idea that London is a very large city with major historical strongholds. We prayed that evening as we walked around a map of London seven times for strongholds in London to come down and God’s Holy Spirit to be able to move freely in the city. It was mentioned afterwards that The Stable church had a ministry that finished a few years ago. This ministry would leave from The Stable to walk around London in prayer every year and happened for a total of seven years.

03The next day 4 of our team had the privilege of participating in the National Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast. As a result of OCE London and YWAM National Prayer Network coordinating the Walk for Truce we had the opportunity to meet leaders, MPs and Ambassadors from all over the world who had come together to pray for God’s will to be done in Parliament in London. 670 people attended the Breakfast. After hearing some wonderful testimonies of God’s faithfulness in the lives of Members of Parliament we heard from the Bishop of London and he spoke about running the race of life for Jesus (which he compared to the Olympic races that are being held in London this summer).

04After the Prayer Breakfast about 100 people had signed up for the Walk for Truce, which was an initiative started by Lord Michael Bates to promote the UN resolution that was created to stop war around the world during the Olympics and Para-Olympics. Lord Bates had been able to obtain 194 signature countries for the UN resolution as result of walking from Athens to London to promote his cause. OCE London did the marshaling for the event and guided the way for the participants to find their way to a Catholic church close to the Olympic site where there was a short time of worship and some final prayers. YWAM England Prayer Network and OCE London have been officially thanked by the Bible Society (organizers of the National Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast) for the work done in organizing the Walk for Truce. Well done everyone!

05That evening David Sladden spoke on the spiritual history of London. He talked about the idea that London was a Roman founded city and that this foundation has had a great impact on how we do things today. He also mentioned about the international calling upon London and how whatever was started in London would easily go throughout the world. Freemasonry has played a large role in the building of London and London is one of the headquarters for Freemasonry around the world.

06The next day focused on teaching and we prayed for protection over London and the UK throughout the Olympics and we prayed as the Spirit of repentance came on us for God to forgive the land of England and city of London for mobilizing for war. We prayed that God would stop any spirit of conflict that may want to come in during the games because of the Greek god of the Olympic Games being a god of war. There was a comment given at this point about the Olympic competitors in ancient Athens at times being killed as a result of losing. We prayed that this would be a peaceful and life-giving time in the UK for all the participants and spectators.

07On the teaching day we left the church premises to walk about 15 minutes to a local well. The well had been covered over by a well house. There we prayed for Barnet for a well of the Holy Spirit to be in that city and we prayed for many to be healed, refreshed and cleansed at the well. We found out that the well was used for drinking and washing out the body’s system. The water from the well was bottled and sent into the centre of London to be sold.

08That evening Michael Marcel came to teach on Revival in the UK and we prayed for the Holy Spirit to fill everyone present in a fresh way. Michael focused his talk on the principles of revival and conditions that were needed to be in place for it to happen. The very next day we began at 10:00 am to drive to central London for a revival tour with Michael. We prayed outside Westminster Abbey for God’s kingdom to come and noticed the obelisks outside the Abbey representing freemasonry. We also prayed at the Tower of London recognising the martyrs who had given their lives for the Gospel and the word of God during the reformation period. We prayed in the mini-bus in a small back alley close to the River Thames where the very first English Bible came into the country. Thanksgiving erupted in the van as we heard the history of that Bible.

09We went onto Wesley’s Chapel and prayed by Charles Wesley’s organ for new songs to come from England again and in John Wesley’s prayer room for a new movement of prayer to come forth. We met in the main chapel area at the end of our time and prayed for God’s fire to fall upon England and the nations: it was a powerful time in God’s presence. We went on from there to prayer at John Newton’s church and we had a powerful time as we sang Amazing Grace together and other songs and prayed into the meaning of that hymn. We finished the tour by seeing the location of John Wesley’s conversion experience and where his brother Charles became a Christian as well. We went on that evening to a prayer meeting at HTB were we heard that the church in London has stopped declining and is now growing, which was something we had prayed into.

10The final Friday was taken up by praying in teams around the city. Before the three teams left we prayed and worshipped together for God to move through His Holy Spirit not just in the church in London but all the spheres as well. There was a deep sense of God calling His bride to arise in London and be more intimate with Him again. Three teams left from The Stable church. The first to pray around the old Roman walls; the second team went to pray at the St Paul’s Cathedral and City Hall; the third team went to pray at Buckingham Palace and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

11That evening we came together and worshipped and gave thanks as we reported back to the church about what we had done that week. Ben and the team from the Stable led us in worship and did an amazing job. God spoke about us going deeper with Him in worship and prayer and not settling for second best. We also prayed for the leaders at the church and for The Stable to be a well of God’s Holy Spirit to the community. Then the church members prayed and blessed us. The Saturday morning we met with the local prayer team to support them in their on-going prayers for Barnet and the city. Overall the time in London was a success but navigating the large city and the long hours were indeed a challenge but well worth it and I believe that we did have an impact for God’s glory: Thank you Lord!

Report Luxembourg June 1-2, 2011

We were a group of 16 people coming to Luxembourg to pray for the (national) government this time. We were hosted by individuals in a church. We met in this church before and after going out to pray in the city. The first morning we were together with a prayer group of 12 people in the church. In the afternoon we split up in 3 groups.

Luxembourg Europa Stamp 1997 La Belle Mélusine

One group went to the Casamates, where Sigfrid first heard the song of Melusine, a mermaid, and build the first castle. He had to sell his soul to the devil to marry her. We prayed a lot into this ; the seduction, the covenant with death according to Is 28 : 14-17 and prayed that Luxembourg now would hear the song of Jesus, her Creator. To the right you see the Melusine on a stamp from Luxembourg

Another group went to the statue that represents the city. It’s a golden godess on the top of an obelisk. There they prayed for the identity of the city. Then they went into the heart of the city, to pray for that heart and speak words of life into it.

The third group went to the banking area, praying for the financial world with all the corruption and hidden things going on. This group also went in to the center of the city to pray.

The second day we all went together. First we prayed at the cathedral. Then we went to a square in the heart of the city. We declared many bibleverses speaking about the identity of the city. As we did people gathered curiously around us. We could pray for one lady that was very moved.

After this we went to the Duke’s palace and the building of the presidency of the parliament. We prayed for both and declared several scriptures. We were content with our time in Luxembourg believing we did what God had asked us to do.

January 22, 2011:

In the afternoon one group went to pray around the city walls, another group went to pray in the city centre and a third group stayed in the area around the church.

LUXEMBOURG city walls

The team to the city walls

We prayed into the foundations of the city asking God to cleanse them, to shine his light into the darkness and to bring into the light things that are done in secret.

We placed verses of scripture into the walls and poured some oil at various points asking God’s presence to come into the city and be its real foundation.

One person received Isaiah 28:15-18a concerning the city’s covenant with death.

At the Court of Justice we had a strong sense of corruption and injustice in the city. From that point onwards we sprinkled salt as we walked.

It looks like freemasonryThen the next thought was : we will go to the source of the corruption ! We walked down to the river in direction of the old wall with holes/rooms in it. On the way we got the chapter Zechariah 5. One time it says : this is iniquities….. and then : this is wickedness. Then it talks about the 2 women, which we believe is 2 female spirits : political power and religious power, which is really iniquity and wickedness. We walked along the river. Then all of us saw a building to the right feeling that there was something unusual and significant about it. We believe it is a freemason lodge. The are a lot of symbols indicating that, even if the barman opposite the square said it was a theatre. So we prayed there. After that we continued but we felt our assignment was finished.

If you look up the official web-site under and read about the Melusina, (Melusina is a water spirit) you will see the same place taken on a photo from a different angle.

The team who went to the the cathedral and the Duke’s palace:

The cathedral is called « our lady, the comforter of the afflicted ones » (thus taking the name of the Holy Spirit). There were scenes showing processions dedicated to the virgin from the 17th century above the altar. The stained glassed window shows the life of Mary. The Queen of heaven reigns from there over the country. We had a time of repentance and prayed for revelations from God and for renewal for the priests, that they would be touched by the Holy Spirit. We prayed that people with a sincere heart would get a revelation of God. We also proclaimed Jeremiah 11 and Isaiah 47 and put these Bible verses in 5 different places in the church.

The buildings just around the cathedral are the seat of the government and its ministers. They are modest buildings. There are small statues of Mary on the facades. We prayed for the separation of the church and the state.

In front of the Duke’s palace we prayed for the Duke and his family. It was at the moment of the change of the guards, considered by some of us to announce the coming new times.

The national library has a small statue of Mary on the front. It is a place of knowledge, coming from Greek humanism. We read Proverbs 3:5-6. and took a time of repentance, proclaiming the knowledge of Jesus.

The team around the train station :

We walked around the train station and the surrounding streets. We prayed for things to come into the light. We understood that there are chains of darkness binding different people in fear and slavery including sexual. We proclaimed Ps.107 and also Ps.139. We then prayed that the Christians in Luxembourg would be courageous to take back the streets for God, believing, as written in Joshua, that God will give them every place that their feet tread upon. We prayed a lot for the light to shine into the darkness.

January 23:

The tunnel:

We were amazed to discover that this was the one day in the year when the tunnel under the city centre was open to the public. It felt that this was an answer to our prayer of the previous day that the foundations would be opened up so that the light of God could shine in. Two of us felt we were to take this opportunity to go and pray in the tunnel. Before leaving, God showed us to take with us 5 stones which we were to place in the tunnel. These represented the five stones that David took when he faced Goliath and the 5 battles the Israelites fought against the Philistines (1 Samuel 17:4, 2 Samuel 21:15-16, 18-20, 1 Chronicles 20:5). So we stopped in 5 places in the tunnel each time placing a stone and praying concerning one of the 5 issues raised by the scriptures ( shame/love, selfishness/generosity, lie/truth, arrogance/humility, setting wrong boundaries/ teamwork bringing freedom).

1 Corinthians 3:11 was also proclaimed stating that Jesus is the only true foundation.

We especially prayed where they spoke of Medusina and the story of Siegfried making a pact with the devil to get the city, which confirmed the verse of Isaiah which we had received the day before. We threw one stone into the source that is there.

On both days we felt the enormous love of God for the city and the nation. It felt as if He was weeping over the city as Jesus wept over Jerusalem and as if He was calling her to come back to Him.

The European banks:

One team guided by Tamar went to the EIB. We prayed general prayers about, blessings, light and truth.

Then there was a vision of crowds coming up from the bridge. Thousands of people crying from the street : justice, financial justice. The EIB was ready to receive that. The crowds continued to the other banks (in smaller numbers), and with their cry, some of the banks where touched and they were influenced to make more just decisions. But not all banks.

Then we prayed at the old EIB building for the administration, for Christians to meet together to pray inside.

Several had the feeling that some inside were corrupted and plotted evil with the pressure from the directors of other banks on the other side of the plateau. One person had had a dream before about a chess game. The king and queens and the big ones were using the ponds for their purposes, which was confirming that ; the private bank « buying » and manipulating some people in EIB. We prayed around that.

Then we went to the private banking area, and prayed some more there.

The European institutions:

One team went to the European institutions to pray. We started by the European commission which is a part of the general communication and is crucial in the spreading of information to the media and the politicians as well as the citizens of Europe. It’s in Luxembourg that the translation into the 25 languages happens. We prayed for the people who work there, for a spirit of truth among them. We prayed in front of the different administrative buildings of the Parliament and the European banks and Treasury. In the latter we really felt the corruption linked to Mammon. We made several declarations in front of this building.
