Report of Rome Feb 22-24:

Before the trip, as we prayed, we felt we should pray about the river Tiber, to see cleaning of it of course physically, but which was obviously a source of spiritual pollution. As we looked on the map, we realised that the source of Tiber wasn’t far from San Marino. So, we had decided to go to the source to pray. When we got there, we found a Roman statue and there had definitely been some spiritual consecration. It was a very special place with the 2 sources coming out 10 meters apart.

We started to declare that this was God’s creation: the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. Because of that we declared all other initiations invalid and prayed for the undoing of it.

We then read 2 Kings 2:19-22 before 4 people in the team poured out salt in the 2 sources. Then we declared that healing, restoration and salvation will go forth wherever the river flows and for a new portal from heaven to be opened with the river of God flowing from this place. It was a short and powerful prayer. We had a sense that we accomplished something important with God.

In the evening we had a meeting in the House of Prayer in Rome. We had like an open heaven and the presence of God was so strong. Another woman from Ecuador was added to the team, so now we had 11 people from 9 different nations.

Feb 23 we had 3 different pastors share with us about Rome and the Vatican and the spiritual mapping of the capitals. It was very helpful and we realised that there is so much to pray into in Rome and the Vatican

Feb 24, we went to the river Tiber by the 3 bridges between the Vatican and Rome. We want to continue to pray for the purifying of the river and its spiritual influence. Is 27:1 talks about Leviathan, the serpent in the in the sea and Ezekiel 29:3 talks about the monster in the rivers. So these are water spirits that influence the river, but also the surrounding area. So our mandate was to pray concerning this water spirit. We split up in 3 teams – one on each side of the river and one walking over the 3 bridges. Everybody had salt that we sprinkled in the river at different places. We prayed as we were led at different times. Someone had a vision of the serpent in the river being cut in pieces and die. So, we believe this will happen. Someone received a vision that there will be so much water and there will be floods as a sign.

In the afternoon, we went to 4 places of the government; the Senate, the house of the deputies, the Prime Minister’s office and the presidential palace.

The prayer at the Senate was the most profound and longest. It was also the place that was the heaviest. We prayed that the senators could get out of their apathy, slumber and heaviness. A vision was given of a snake around the building. A two-pronged fork from heaven came to squeeze and hold the head of the snake to the ground. In its anger, the snake broke all the snake eggs with its tail as it tried to move fiercely around. It also ate the broken snake eggs which were poisonous. This made the snake nauseous and it vomited it. This killed all the offspring of the snake and its stronghold will die off. 4 senators manifested in the vision and tried to dominate the Senate as they had done before, but the other senators would not let themselves be intimidated any more. This will bring a change in the Senate.

At the Prime Minister’s office, we prayed that the PM would stand straight in his authority, not bending over by people’s opinion or pressure, being able to make the right decision even if it’s unpopular. Otherwise a new PM might come before the appointed time of election.

At the presidential palace, we prayed for the preident and his family. We prayed that he will be used to restore authority in Italy, to make the right decision whether to hold elections in 2017 instead of 2018 as it is planned.

We gave all the prayer back to God and thanked Him for a good and long day.

Report Vatican Feb 25, 2017

We started in the morning at 10 am with joining the pastors’ monthly prayer meeting. Some of them had heard the good feed-back of ministry we had 2 days before, so they came expectant and open to receive. The worship was again powerful lead by David, the brother of Emanuele Di Martino who leads the House of Prayer. We were again able to minister and prophecy over people individually and collectively. It was very encouraging to see God touch hearts.

In the afternoon, we went to the Vatican. We were about 15 people grouping close to the obelisk in front of the St. Peter’s basilica. How blatant can it be; having an obelisk which is a symbol of idolatry right in front of the headquarters of the biggest church in the world? It is astonishing how we are blinded. So, this is definitely spiritual blindness and needs prayer for the eyes of the hearts to open up.

One lady in the team had had a vision 2-3 years before, seeing herself playing the guitar and worshiping the Lord with a team in front of the basilica. That vision came to pass that day. The worship and the prayer were good and inspired. It drew the attention of some people, but nothing more than that. You are allowed to worship in a place like that, even if it’s very touristic and religious, right?

A vision was given about the Vatican being lifted up from the ground and a deep evil root was being pulled out of the ground. How this will happen is difficult to understand and figure out. But God is God, and nothing is impossible for Him. Our worship and prayer lasted maybe for 1 hour and 30 mins. When we felt we had done what God asked us to do, we quietly finished and thanked Him for the time and the honor of serving Him. Then we had a final photo of the team in front of the Vatican.

Belgrade Report Nov. 20-22, 2016 :

We had an apartment together in Belgrade which made it easier to fellowship. Also the temperature had gone up to 12-14°C in the afternoon, which made it easier for the ones that already were coughing and struggling against a cold.

We started our prayer in Belgrade on Sunday Nov 20. We were well guided in Belgrade; first morning to church. This year the evangelical church in Serbia had started a prayer chain for a year. This is an encouragement for what is going on in Serbia. And on this day, the church we went to had the responsibility for the prayer. And we joined in for 90 minutes after the service to pray for the country.

In the afternoon we went to the Republican square. It was said that the one who had this place, had the city and nation in his hand. So, this was the heart of the nation. We had about 10 Serbians with us, placed in the center as we prayed for the heart of the city and the nation. It was great to call forth God’s intentions in a nation where there is so much hurt and brokenness. Well, what can you expect with a nation that has been attacked 115 times and destroyed to the ground 44 times in its history? We believe Serbia is a strong nation, but that it’s also has a purity and sense of righteousness they should fight for.

fisherman-and-serpent-copieAfterwards we continued to the Kalemegdan park where we had discovered a strange sculpture of a fisherman and a serpent. The same sculpture was in Zagreb. The serpent is also a water spirit like the dragon in Ljubljana. We had gotten the revelation that there was a link between the 3 capitals holding them in captivity. We wanted to break this connection. So, we prayed there and poured wine in the mouth of the serpent. The day after we got a message from intercessors in South-Africa that they saw the serpent shrinking, not knowing what we had done. This was very encouraging; to know we had touched something.

The second day, we started to pray in the Kalemegdan park. While waiting for the local believers, we discovered a Muslim mausoleum. We just had to pray there before we met at the victory monument. This monument was put up by a Freemason, encouraging violence and death. Ps 64 was something received for this place and is quite descriptive of the secrecy and destruction from this masonic monument. We prayed that the covenant with death would be broken in this place. It is incredible how much the Freemasons had influence in this city. The next place we went to also; a small pyramid in the middle of the main walking street in front of a scientific center. Here we split up in 4 teams praying for the influence to be cut off and things to come up in the light.

We finished the day praying in front of the Town Hall. Someone had received a vision of a tree which represented the Town Hall, where the wind blew away leaves and some branches to make room for new things to spring forth. Yes, Spirit of God blow on this place!

The third day we went to the parliament and the park in front of it up to the presidential palace and the Town Hall. oce-18-teamIn 4 teams, we walked around the parliament (a circle) and the park (another circle) making an “eight” for new beginnings and the unrighteous covenants and bondages between the building to be cut off.

We prayed the stronghold and influence of communism to be cut off and for God to put His angels in each corner of the place. We prayed that corruption will come to the surface and corrupt people to be sent away from the government.

Zagreb Report Nov 15-18, 2016:

We traveled to Zagreb Nov 14 and started with a meeting with the House of Prayer there right away. Then the next 4 days we had teachings in the morning and prayer in town in the afternoon as well as 3 more meetings in the evenings with local believers. It was all a blessed time and we could be an encouragement to the local believers.

We did some important work in prayer. We spent the first morning gathering from God what He had been saying to us and then making a strategy of how to go about. We found a spiritual highway for the Lord, that needed some stones to be taken away from it (see Is 62:10). The Vukovar street was there with the name remembering the slaughtering of the people there in 1991. It is estimated that 2,000 defenders of Vukovar and civilians were killed, 800 went missing and 22,000 civilians were forced into exile. This is still an open wound in the nation and we prayed the Croatians would be able to turn this page of the history with God’s help and healing.

croatian-kingA statue of the first king of Croatia was also there on the highway. It was not him but a later king that cursed Croatia by saying that it didn’t deserve to be a kingdom for 1000 years …… and since then Croatia has been under foreign rule. It is a curse to be broken!

This highway went into the heart of the city which was the ruling part with the government, the church and other authorities. Someone from South-Africa had had a vision of the biggest Catholic Church before knowing anything about Zagreb. So to discover this church was an encouragement and a clear sign of what we needed to pray about. The connection between the church and the government was not in righteousness thus the heart of the city was sick. altarThe connection with the right side and the left side of the heart was corrupt and sick, and needed some surgery. In this place with the authorities, there were also many back doors and tunnels with unholy agreements that needed some dealings with. We did all this in prayer on site with insight.

We also discovered the story about an evil queen who had a castle above the city, where she ruled it through witchcraft and other evil practices. (See more of her story on: She lived in the 15th century. But recently a president of Croatia, when Croatia just had become a “new” country after the Balkan wars, had covenanted Croatia to the altars and the demonic principalities of this former evil queen. We understood the consequences of these covenants and parliament-zagrebdecided to go there to pray and break the spiritual influence. 4 people did this while the rest of the group continued to pray concerning the hidden covenants in the city before finishing off in front of the parliament. We prayed a lot for the new heart of Croatia. Croatia is a warrior people, but they have a tender heart. This tender heart needs to come forth for the beauty of the nation to shine as it should. We also prayed that this would happen to the government leading the nation in the right direction.

Ljubljana Report Nov. 12-13, 2016:

LjubljanaLjubljana is a beautiful capital and since it’s not very big, it’s pleasant and worth visiting for tourism.

We were there with 14 people from abroad and from 7 nations to pray. We were hosted by local believers in the place of Campus Crusade for Christ, for worship, prayer and orientation. It became clear to us that we should pray concerning the dragon and its’ influence over the city for a long time. dragon-ljubljanaSince the dragon can also be in the water (a water spirit) as well as the air, we decided to focus our prayer and repentance the first day by the river Ljubljanica.

One team went to the source of the river, where stories said human sacrifice had been made as they prophesied (witchcraft) over the river and where it passed.

The other team went by the river where it separated just before the old town. Both teams brought salt and wine as symbolism of purification of corruption, betrayal and other kinds of evil; as a result of the spiritual influence of the water spirit.

The teams worked and prayed in harmony as one got a vision to pray through, another a scripture, another song, declaration etc. We could really feel the inspiration of the Lord as we were doing His will in prayer.

The second team continued to pray at different places by the river as they strolled down towards the center; at the shoemakers’ bridge which used to be the Jewish quarter, the triple bridge which was by the center down town where we prayed concerning freemasonry. And after a coffee break in the cold weather, both teams met up at the butcher’s bridge with all kind of weird art. And finally we finished at the dragon’s bridge. There we split up in 4 teams, each one taking a dragon and praying to shut the dragon’s mouth and influence in the capital.

The second day we got the plan to pray at the castle before ending at the parliament. At the castle, we split in 4 teams each praying as they were led. A couple of teams prayed about all that had happened in the secret and under the castle which was evil.

One team went to the chapel and the tower. We could all hear them. When they sang in the chapel, the tourists wanted to hear more as they were touched. That’s a good sign. And in the end everybody went to the chapel for some more worship.

Before going to the Town Hall, someone in the team had had a vision of a well being locked up. And surely when we arrived there, there were 2 wells locked and covered with a metal lid on the top. We were encouraged and prayed accordingly, and since we pray something according to His will, we have it.

parliament-ljubljanaFinally we ended up in front of the parliament. Corruption was of course high on the list of things to pray for, but also the distance between the people and the government people. We declared a shift; that the ones who did not govern in the interest of the people would be removed. We prayed that people would rise up, and for government to reach out to the people and their interests. We finished with dancing on the Republic square.

May 182016

Day One

After a wonderful time of very anointed worship, we had a really good discussion.

Lion on Central Square

Lion on central square

One person had a vision of a lion statue laying down with its head up. The statue had been neglected. The heraldic symbol of Finland is a lion. Another person pointed out that the Central Square has a lion statue. It is inside the former parliament building, which had been abandoned as a meeting place because of the rumor of bad decisions being made there. The building is covered with Egyptian symbols, which is Freemason. The building is currently under renovation until 2017, and even the front steps had been removed and replaced.

There is a flag of the lamb at the cathedral, where they have the 12 apostles on the roof. The cathedral is Lutheran, and the Lutheran church of Finland has made some very bad decisions and compromises.

Isaiah 32:1-4 & 16-20 was proclaimed for Finland and its leaders:

Behold, a king will reign righteously and princes will rule justly. Each will be like a refuge from the wind and a shelter from the storm, like streams of water in a dry country, like the shade of a huge rock in a parched land. Then the eyes of those who see will not be blinded, and the ears of those who hear will listen. The mind of the hasty will discern the truth, and the tongue of the stammerers will hasten to speak clearly.

Then justice will dwell in the wilderness and righteousness will abide in the fertile field. And the work of righteousness will be peace, and the service of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever. Then my people will live in a peaceful habitation, and in secure dwellings and in undisturbed resting places; and it will hail when the forest comes down, and the city will be utterly laid low. How blessed will you be, you who sow beside all waters, who let out freely the ox and the donkey.

Helsinki was founded by a Swedish ruler who forced the people to move here. The first capital was Turku. After the Turku fire, the Russians made Helsinki the capital.

In the first church of Helsinki there was a grave. Now the church is in ruins, but the grave is decorated, its letters gilded. This is also Freemason witchcraft.

Isaiah 28:14-19

And Amos 3:7-8 for the lion of Finland, which seems to be sleeping. A counterfeit lion does injustice.

Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets. The lion has roared—who will not fear? The Sovereign Lord has spoken—who can but prophesy?

There are 2 statues to the Russian rulers, Alexander I and Alexander II, both of whom were considered to be good rulers.

There is a statue of a lady wearing a bearskin in front of a lion at the Justice Palace.

There is a statue of Marie (the same person as Mariehamn) at the Market Square with a 2-headed eagle that had recently been gilded. This forms a leyline with the Justice Palace.

In current events, Russia is very much a threat. It used to be that Finnish people would laugh if you said that Russia is a threat, but now they understand it to be true.

Also in current events, the Foreign Minister (a Christian) participated in the Jesus March and spoke at the event about the importance of prayer. The PM is also a Christian.

Prayer Walking

Obelisk in front of Swedish embassy

Obelisk in front of Swedish embassy

At the Swedish Embassy there is the double-headed eagle atop an obelisk. This creates a leyline with the statue of the woman in a bearskin (Russian and Freemason witchcraft influences). So we prayed to cut off the influence of both and to cut all division. We prayed to cut off the Swedish influence, too. We prayed for Finland to shake off outside influences and to embrace change.

We prayed for Finland’s true identity, based on Daniel 1:8:

Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way.

Judges 7:20 was proclaimed, too:

. . . they shouted, “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!”

As we prayed this, one teammate saw a sword come down and divide the 2-headed eagle in 2.

We prayed that Finland would resist the spirit of confusion, and resist transgressions against its borders. Finland has been too tolerant in the past, and needs to be firm and to set good boundaries.

We also prayed to reveal any unhealthy covenants as the one between Joshua and the Gibeonites (Joshua 9). And that Finland would not reveal all its treasures to outsiders as Hezekiah did (2 Kings 20) because Finland has been taken with cunning.

One interesting thing about the Finns was revealed to us by a local. She said that Finns hate to be separated from the group. In fact, they have a saying: “Finland will never act alone.” Finland has been waiting to see how Sweden decides about NATO.

Then we walked to the House of the Estates, which had been the original parliament building and was abandoned due to rumors that bad decisions are made in it. The House of the Estates had been established under Russian rule. We prayed for right things in Finland, and that foreigners will no longer decide Finland’s future. Finland will decide things for themselves, declaring that Psalm 95:10 will no longer be true of Finland:

For forty years I was angry with that generation; I said, “They are a people whose hearts go astray, and they have not known My ways.”

One teammate had a vision of a pair of hands that were somehow crossed or confused. So we prayed against confusion.

The lion and the other lady wearing bearskin are inside, but the building was locked, so we couldn’t get in to see the statue.

As we were praying into Finnish identity, there was a gay couple sitting on a bench nearby, caressing continually while we prayed. Then they got up and walked away and another couple of lovers took their place.

We proclaimed courage to the government leaders and freedom to Finland. We prayed that the Finnish people would be liberated from the Russian, Swedish, and Freemason framework box. We proclaimed forgiveness and release for Russia and Sweden. We blessed Russia and Sweden, and prayed to make Finland a blessing to these countries—in a right way. And that God’s Justice and Righteousness will rule (this last prayed in Finnish).

We prayed, proclaiming cleansing and purification for the building and for the Finnish government—all demons and evil spirits out!

We prayed for Finnish people to find the boldness to deal with the past, no matter how “not nice” they may consider it. We prayed for the bearskin to fall off the Finnish lion, and for holy boldness. We countered the covenant with death and lies, and prayed that all lies will be revealed. We prayed for discernment for recognizing half lies, and for God’s wisdom and discernment to know how to act against lies. We prayed for the desire to change, to embrace change, and for clear explanations.

One teammate had a vision of a new constitution that is purely Finnish and written by Finns.

We declared that the battle of the Finnish heart will be won—Finished! And that Finland will embrace its identity. The Lion of Judah will rise up here. We prayed according to Isaiah 57:9-10, that Finland will stop going to foreign kings:

You sent your ambassadors far away; you descended to the very realm of the dead! You wearied yourself by such going about.

Finally, we prayed to break all the bad rumors and bad decisions and bad agreements here. We prayed that every decision will be good and right, with the good of Finland in mind, Isaiah 28:14-22:

Therefore, hear the word of the Lord, O scoffers, who rule this people who are in Jerusalem, because you have said, “We have made a covenant with death, And with Sheol we have made a pact. The overwhelming scourge will not reach us when it passes by, for we have made falsehood our refuge and we have concealed ourselves with deception.” Therefore thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone, a costly cornerstone for the foundation, firmly placed. He who believes in it will not be disturbed. “I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the level; then hail will sweep away the refuge of lies and the waters will overflow the secret place. “Your covenant with death will be canceled, and your pact with Sheol will not stand; When the overwhelming scourge passes through, then you become its trampling place. “As often as it passes through, it will seize you; for morning after morning it will pass through, anytime during the day or night, and it will be sheer terror to understand what it means.” The bed is too short on which to stretch out, and the blanket is too small to wrap oneself in. For the Lord will rise up as at Mount Perazim, He will be stirred up as in the valley of Gibeon, to do His task, His unusual task, and to work His work, His extraordinary work. And now do not carry on as scoffers, or your fetters will be made stronger; For I have heard from the Lord God of hosts of decisive destruction on all the earth.

Praying in front of the large Lutheran church

Praying in front of the large Lutheran church

Then we walked to the Lutheran Cathedral. The church should have led Finland in standing up for what is right, and in not compromising with Russia and Sweden. Instead, the church led Finland into self pity. Now the church needs to lead Finland in taking their identity again.

One local teammate told us that the water pipe had broken in the church and the water flooded out the front door and down the stairs. Water speaks of purification.

The Finnish teammates prayed and confessed and repented for the fear of man, self pity, and blaming their leaders. We proclaimed 2 Timothy 2:24-26 for the church leaders:

The Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do His will.

We thanked God for the scandal that woke up the church, and said that the early church foundations must be dug up, especially the pharisaical: rituals, appearance, legalism, etc. We prayed for new wine to be poured into the church: pour Your Spirit on the church! And we prayed to break every Masonic tie with the church.

Then we walked back to the leylines crossing and declared Isaiah 28:20:

The bed is too short to stretch out on, the blanket too narrow to wrap around you.

And read Psalm 2:

We proclaimed that fear of the Lord is coming upon all the unrighteous people that have made unrighteous pacts. We broke the power of the leylines and declared Isaiah 58:12:

Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.

Day Two

The Parliament Building (currently under extensive renovations) will reopen in time for the 100 year Jubilee. They will meet in the newly renovated building in 2017. We proclaimed Jeremiah 31:2-6:

Thus says the Lord, “The people who survived the sword found grace in the wilderness—Israel, when it went to find its rest.” The Lord appeared to him from afar, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness. “Again I will build you and you will be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel! Again you will take up your tambourines, and go forth to the dances of the merrymakers. “Again you will plant vineyards on the hills of Samaria; The planters will plant and will enjoy them. “For there will be a day when watchmen on the hills of Ephraim call out, ‘Arise, and let us go up to Zion, to the Lord our God.’”

Proclamations for Finland to be in Finnish and Swedish at the Parliament building. Praying for a new building, like the original, without any outside influences. Finnish laws for Finnish people.

Tomorrow Henning will preach here at the Andreaskyrkian on the identity of Finland, the crown jewel, using Zacharias 9:16:

The Lord their God will save His people on that day as a shepherd saves his flock. They will sparkle in His land like jewels in a crown.

Finnish people are peacemakers. They hosted the first European peace conference in the1970’s.

One teammate observed that on the map, Helsinki looks like a dove that has been shot by a shotgun. Then we made a list of proclamations to make at Parliament:

Malachi 3:18 & 4:2-6

Song of Songs 2:13-14 –

Micah 3:5-7 –

Isaiah 9:2-7

Proverbs 8:22-31

Proverbs 22:28Do not move an ancient boundary stone set up by your ancestors.

Revelation 2:1-7

Ephesians 3:14-21

Matthew 7:20 & 24-27

1 Peter 2:4-8

Isaiah 28:16

Finland’s real name (what they call themselves) is Suomi. Finland is what foreigners call them. Finland has a lion’s heart. So we prayed and prophesied over each Finnish teammate. One teammate anointed them.

Prayer Walking

Team at parliament with covering in the back

Team at parliament with covering in the back

At the Parliament building, we could see that the whole thing is under fabric covering. One local teammate told us that renovations will cost more than expected—maybe even double. They also said that there were certain dangers for the construction workers. We proclaimed Psalm 91 for the protection of Parliament and Finland under the shadow of God’s wings, and that beauty will be revealed when the scaffolding is removed:

Psalm 91

Jesus, the Alpha and the Omega, is the only One strong enough to really bring about the needed changes.

Prayers and proclamations in Finnish:

Thank you to God for the believers in Parliament, Matthew 7:24-27 (see above).

Prayers to raise up prayer for leaders and intercessors to stand in the gap for Finland.

1 Peter 2:4-8 (see above).

Forgiveness for past unjust decisions here, especially with regard to Israel.

Psalm 122:6-9 (in Swedish) – Pray for the peace of [Finland]: “May those who love you be secure. May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.” For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, “Peace be within you.” For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your prosperity.

Bless Finland with leaders who really care for the flock: steadfast and righteous shepherds. Isaiah 32:1-6

Proverbs 22:28

Prayer that now that the stairs are gone, they will be returned cleansed and like new.

Isaiah 52:1-2 that gender equal marriage be annulled—seems impossible, but all is possible with God: Awake, awake, Zion, clothe yourself with strength! Put on your garments of splendor, Jerusalem, the holy city. The uncircumcised and defiled will not enter you again. Shake off your dust; rise up, sit enthroned, Jerusalem. Free yourself from the chains on your neck, Daughter Zion, now a captive.

Isaiah 60:1-4

Ephesians 3:14-21

Prayer that the church will take its place as leader of the nation. Restore prayer for government in the church.

1 Timothy 1:1-2 (in Swedish):

Isaiah 62 for the identity of Finland (in Finnish): For [Finland’s] sake………

Jeremiah 31:2-6 (personalized to Finland).

We also prayed that they would give space inside, one room in the Parliament building for a team of intercessors.

Isaiah 32:1-6

Then we walked to the back of the building, where there was a metal construction tunnel that formed the temporary entrance to the building.

Psalm 40 to draw Parliament and the government out of the miry clay:

And proclaimed Isaiah 60:

Malachi 3:18 & 4:2-6.

Then the Finnish teammates sang a prophetic song for Finland, ending with a joyous shout.

We ended the trip with a lovely dinner prepared by a Finnish teammate.

May 182016

Day One

We arrived in Mariehamn in the morning and disembarked. We were immediately met by 2 unexpected difficulties: the possibility that one teammate might have to cut his trip short because of difficulties at home, and the other was that the pastor couldn’t meet with us because he had to get his blood tested. So we began in worship, then launched right into prayer for both of these people and issues.

One of the group is a missionary, called to Åland, so we prayed for him, and one person saw a vision of the missionary planting a sword into the ground. We believed this to mean that God is establishing him and his family here by His Word. Psalm 118:15-17 was proclaimed for him:

Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: “The Lord’s right hand has done mighty things! The Lord’s right hand is lifted high; the Lord’s right hand has done mighty things!” I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done.

Another person saw God’s glory come streaming in, unstoppable.

The Discussion

Shamanism, witchcraft, and yoga are issues in the Åland islands. The locals were not aware of any Nordic gods being worshiped, but a look at the tourist shops will reveal it because they will probably have figurines. So we proclaimed Matthew 13:43:

Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father.

Mariehamn was so named by Czar Alexander II for his wife. He was said to be a good czar. All of Finland (Åland included) was under Russian rule since 1917. Putin has a hunting cabin in Åland, but they say that he’s never been here. Åland is demilitarized, and Finland is not in NATO, being neutral.

Eighty different native tongues are spoken in Åland, most in Mariehamn. The island group enjoys a special deal with the EU for tax-free shopping. There is a saying: “Åland is the trigger to the pistol aimed at the heart of Sweden.”

Because we couldn’t meet with the pastor, who was going to give us a brief spiritual history of Åland, we couldn’t really do much of anything at the church. And we couldn’t check into our hostels until the afternoon. So we agreed that the best thing would be to go to the town history museum to teach ourselves something of the history. So we decided to walk around town, blessing the town and enjoying it (as in Jeremiah 29).

Prayer Walking

So we walked to the history museum, but it is closed for renovations until August. On the way, we had seen and noticed a ley line between the city hall and the mariner’s school. And this being a seafaring place, we decided that we could probably get the pertinent history at the Seafaring Museum.

So we went to the Seafaring Museum and walked through, learning something of the maritime history of Åland. Then we broke for lunch and to check into our hostels.

Addressing the Church

That night, Henning spoke to the church about Operation Capitals of Europe and introduced the team.

Day Two

We enjoyed a time of glorious worship, during which we were encouraged to praise God in our native languages. Afterward, we prayed to release an anointing of beauty, glory, and joy upon one of the worship leaders of the church who will bring God’s glory and beauty.

The Discussion

One person had dreamed of a resistant door, but with persistence it opened. This encouraged the pastor, who said that he had long been praying and battling with the “resistant door here in Åland. He has had this burden for Åland since 1982 when he fell out of bed one night and God told him to go hear Reinhardt Bonke speak. The resistant door was said to be the influence of Freemasonry witchcraft.

One local believer said that she was going to the Russian church meeting and asked for prayer. We prayed for her, and her appointment to go to the Russian church suddenly was canceled.

Prayer Walking

Praying in front of Town Hall

Praying in front of Town Hall

First we walked to the City Hall, which was noted to be the highest point in the eastern side of the city. We prayed and declared Psalm 24 in English and in Swedish:

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for He founded it on the seas and established it on the waters. Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in His Holy Place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God their Savior. Such is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face, God of Jacob. Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of Glory may come in. Who is this King of Glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of Glory may come in. Who is He, this King of Glory? The Lord Almighty—He is the King of Glory.

Then we declared Ezekiel 11:22-25, followed by 3 blasts on the shofar:

Then the cherubim, with the wheels beside them, spread their wings, and the glory of the God of Israel was above them. The glory of the Lord went up from within the city and stopped above the mountain east of it. The Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the exiles in Babylonia in the vision given by the Spirit of God. Then the vision I had seen went up from me, and I told the exiles everything the Lord had shown me.

Finally we went around the building, placing a stone at each of its 4 corners while declaring Isaiah 28:16

So this is what the Sovereign Lord says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who relies on it will never be stricken with panic.

In front of statue of Mary

In front of statue of Mary

At the statue of Marie, for whom the city was named, it was noted that Russia had put the statue there on the 200th anniversary of Mariehamn, and that no other nations were represented at the celebration, only Russia.

We declared Mark 11:22-24:

“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

And all the time one person had her hand firmly gripping the statue’s fan. At that declaration from Mark, she felt the statue shift violently as though dropping several inches.

After more prayers at the statue the shofar was blown and Isaiah 47:2-3 was declared:

Take millstones and grind flour; take off your veil. Lift up your skirts, bare your legs, and wade through the streams. Your nakedness will be exposed and your shame uncovered.

Then we walked to the Parliament building where we prayed and declared Isaiah 52:1-2; 9:6; and 11:1-5:

Awake, awake, Zion, clothe yourself with strength! Put on your garments of splendor, Jerusalem, the holy city. The uncircumcised and defiled will not enter you again. Shake off your dust; rise up, sit enthroned, Jerusalem. Free yourself from the chains on your neck, Daughter Zion, now a captive.

For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit. The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him—the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord—and He will delight in the fear of the Lord. He will not judge by what He sees with His eyes, or decide by what He hears with His ears; but with righteousness He will judge the needy, with justice He will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth; with the breath of His lips He will slay the wicked. Righteousness will be His belt and faithfulness the sash around His waist.

The Holy Spirit led one person to walk around the circle of flagpoles in a clockwise manner. There were 12 flagpoles, and as she walked, she felt like the Lord was saying that time is up for the unrighteous. Just as she got to the last flagpole, the shofar was blasted (none of which was planned in advance).

The architectural influence of Freemasonry was noted in the grounds of the government buildings as we walked to the entrance of the underground parking garage. There, under the government buildings we placed a stone in the foundation, declaring it a new cornerstone, and the shofar was blasted 3 times.

Back above ground again, we noted a fountain and a series of square gates. We prayed and worshiped at the fountain, then walked through the gates praying and worshiping in tongues.

We declared Jeremiah 2:13; Proverbs 3:5-6; and Genesis 22:18, to take the gates of the enemy:

My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken Me, the Spring of Living Water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.

Through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed Me.

Then there was a final, triumphant shofar blast.

Then we walked to the office building where the president has his offices. It was noted that the president is not a Christian, but whenever he tries to bring in good reforms he meets with much resistance. We prayed to break all Freemasonry witchcraft off him, that he could be released from all spells and curses.

We noted that it is God who places people in office, so we prayed, blessing the president and declaring that those who dig a trip will fall into it.

We also prayed that the president would open the nation to allow the Jews to return to Israel. He is a key man who can make connections with rabbis and Russian Jews here in Åland. He must stand up to “Pharaoh” (evil Masonic death cult) for life and resurrection. Then the shofar was blown 3 times for healing.

May 182016

Day One

We began the day with introductions, followed by a time of worship. Afterwards our host gave us a brief history of the church in Sweden, which started from the ninth century, when a German bishop introduced the Catholic faith. About 500 years later the Uppsala Church Counsel started the Lutheran Church in Sweden, which was eventually embraced by King Gustavus. The king outlawed Catholicism. Thus began an ebb and flow of faith, legalism, secularism, and revival through the centuries. The most notable revival was the Great 40 Year Revival of 1906, coinciding with Azuza Street. Even the royal family became involved. But still the pattern of ebb and flow continued. The most recent revival was the Jesus Movement of the 1970’s and New Life in the 1980’s. Since then the church history of Sweden has been decline, marked only by new church plants by immigrants. Missions work has been the thing to save the Uppsala church from fading into insignificance.

The discussion:

The vision for Stockholm’s spiritual state was a thick grayness in the atmosphere over Stockholm, and an understanding that this spiritual grayness speaks of the tired heart of Stockholm, Isaiah 52:1-2:

Awake, awake, Zion, clothe yourself with strength! Put on your garments of splendor, Jerusalem, the holy city. The uncircumcised and defiled will not enter you again. Shake off your dust; rise up, sit enthroned, Jerusalem. Free yourself from the chains on your neck, Daughter Zion, now a captive.

One of our hosts noted the Swedish tendency to embrace only one point of view at a time. This speaks of resistance to change or other points of view, which is no doubt what led to the massacre of the nobles and bishops who were progressives with an opposing opinion. This was confirmation that the place of that slaughter, Stortorget, in the heart of the old city. In fact, the island that the old city is on is shaped like a heart. Since Sweden’s heart is tired, we decided to go and concentrate on praying there.

The flood of refugees and the many rapes perpetrated against Swedish women has caused public opinion to wildly swing from welcoming to closing their borders. It was important that we pray into that “one opinion” thing of Sweden. The verse best describing Sweden is Judges 21:25:

In those days Israel had no king; everyone did as they saw fit.

This speaks of lawlessness. In fact, it was pointed out that one law to be discussed is legalizing marriage with the corpse of one’s beloved: necrophilia. There is a death culture and a death fascination here in Sweden. One of the past kings had a fascination with Egypt, so there is an Egyptian museum full of mummies. Swedish midwives have caused a stir by not cooperating in abortions.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

In Sweden’s secular, humanistic society, there seems to be a tolerance of everything but the truth. When truth is spoken, especially from the Bible, it is labeled as intolerance. Ironically, the most intolerant people are the ones that scream about intolerance.

One person pointed out that Sweden has the most single occupant households. Family is oppressed, while the insemination of single women has become legalized. The attitude is one of not needing fathers. Contradictory law allows both parents to stay home with a newborn.

Schools allow mobile phones in school, which causes problems concentrating. Children are not well-connected with their parents. Freemasonry is behind all these laws.

Someone observed that humanism is subtly evil, and perhaps more so because it doesn’t appear to be evil.

As the discussion ended, we prayed and prophesied for two of our hosts: one, a leader representing the Lutheran (state) Church, and the other, a leader representing the Free Church. The Lutheran leader was heading out for an appointment with a Catholic bishop about the Swedish Prayer Breakfast. So we prayed and blessed his meeting. He would join us for prayers later.

Prayer Walking

We started at Stortorget, in the heart of the old city, where the nobles and bishops of opposing opinion were slaughtered, and we prayed to wake the heart of Stockholm. Psalm 40:1-4:

I waited patiently for the Lord; He turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in Him. Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods.

And Psalm 37:3-7

Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him and He will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him.

Isaiah 52:1-2 to call forth the identity of Swedes: strength, entrepreneurship, music, missionary spirit generosity, art, inventiveness, creativity, design, beauty with functionality, devotion, and discernment:

Awake, awake, Zion, clothe yourself with strength! Put on your garments of splendor, Jerusalem, the holy city. The uncircumcised and defiled will not enter you again. Shake off your dust; rise up, sit enthroned, Jerusalem. Free yourself from the chains on your neck, Daughter Zion, now a captive.

We prayed to open revival wells, there at the original city well and prophesied to the well that living water should come forth, open the wells of true faith and missionary spirit. Then we had communion.

Praying in front of the King's Palace

Praying in front of the King’s Palace

Then we walked to the King’s Palace. It was noted that the present king had said no when the Freemasons asked him to be their Grand Master. This year the king turned 70—in this Jubilee year, the king had his own jubilee.

There we also prayed against the culture of death and broke the Freemason pact with death. We proclaimed Psalm 92:14-15 for the king, saying:

May he will still bear fruit in old age, he will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, “The Lord is upright; He is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in Him.”

And that he would be a servant leader, full of the Holy Spirit as in Acts 6:1-6. We also prayed Psalm 90:10 for the king, that:

[His] days may come to seventy years, or eighty, if [his] strength endures.

And we proclaimed long life to the king.

Then we walked to a building, built by the Freemasons, then occupied by the army, which is now the courts building for the Justice Palace. We prayed and proclaimed Nahum 2:2:

The Lord will restore the splendor of [Sweden] like the splendor of Israel, though destroyers have laid them waste and have ruined their vines.

And also Psalm 37:5-6:

Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him and He will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.

One of our hosts pointed out that the first book in Sweden had been printed right there at the monastery. It was a book about right and wrong. On this day celebrating free speech and freedom of the press, we said a prayer that such freedoms will continue, and will be equally applied to Christians as well as to others.

Then we walked around the whole island of the old city, which is shaped like a heart, proclaiming revival to the tired heart of Stockholm. We did CPR: Christian Resuscitation Proclamations.

Day Two

As observed before, today marked the 250th anniversary of Free Speech and Freedom of the Press. So after a time of really glorious and joyful worship and prayer, believing that the spiritual grayness seen over Stockholm would be broken by joyful worship.

One person saw a vision in which eagles were circling over the Parliament. One eagle swooped down and caught up a snake. He said that there are 5 people in the government that are poisonous like a snake. Two will soon be removed, and the other 3 will be neutralized. Then he saw God’s scepter come down like a hammer.

Answer of prayer :The following week one person in the government and one the parliament resigned from their position.

As we prayed and prophesied, one person mentioned Mary’s Magnificat, found in chapter 1 of Luke’s Gospel:

My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for He has been mindful of the humble state of His servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed, for the Mighty One has done great things for me—Holy is His Name. His mercy extends to those who fear Him, from generation to generation. He has performed mighty deeds with His arm; He has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts. He has brought down rulers from their thrones but has lifted up the humble. He has filled the hungry with good things but has sent the rich away empty. He has helped His servant Israel, remembering to be merciful to Abraham and his descendants forever, just as He promised our ancestors.

And it was declared that this is only the beginning of what God will do in Sweden. God is rebuking the unclean spirits in Parliament as in Mark 1:23-28, and they will come out with a loud cry:

Just then a man in their synagogue who was possessed by an impure spirit cried out, “What do You want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!”

“Be quiet!” said Jesus sternly. “Come out of him!” The impure spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek. The people were all so amazed that they asked each other, “What is this? A new teaching—and with authority! He even gives orders to impure spirits and they obey Him.” News about Him spread quickly over the whole region of Galilee.

God will raise up City Fathers, replacing the poisonous ones with men that have a father’s heart in the government. If the church praises joyfully, it can help birth the new beginning. The church needs to rejoice prophetically. The Christians of Sweden need to have God’s heart to pray for the city. This was explained to us as a confusing and dramatic time in Swedish government.

Prayer Walking

Gustav Adolfs Torg square

Gustav Adolfs Torg square

We started our prayer walking at Gustav Adolfs Torg square where there had been an uprising concerning free speech. It was in this square that 144 farmers were massacred by the army on their way to Parliament. The scandal caused by this massacre actually convinced the Parliament to establish free speech and freedom of the press. And the number 144 is interesting because it is 12 x 12 or 122. Twelve, being the Biblical number of government. We prayed, asking for freedom and openness, and that there would be a Nineveh style repentance, as in Jonah 3:6-10:

When Jonah’s warning reached the king of Nineveh, he rose from his throne, took off his royal robes, covered himself with sackcloth and sat down in the dust. This is the proclamation he issued in Nineveh: “By the decree of the king and his nobles: Do not let people or animals, herds or flocks, taste anything; do not let them eat or drink. But let people and animals be covered with sackcloth. Let everyone call urgently on God. Let them give up their evil ways and their violence. Who knows? God may yet relent and with compassion turn from his fierce anger so that we will not perish.”

When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, He relented and did not bring on them the destruction He had threatened.

The Truth will set Sweden free, as in Isaiah 52:1-2:

Awake, awake, Zion, clothe yourself with strength! Put on your garments of splendor, Jerusalem, the holy city. The uncircumcised and defiled will not enter you again. Shake off your dust; rise up, sit enthroned, Jerusalem. Free yourself from the chains on your neck, Daughter Zion, now a captive.

Stockholm Parliament

Stockholm Parliament

Also Psalm 2:10-11:

Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear and celebrate His rule with trembling.

One person saw a volcano of righteousness erupting from the parliamentary prayer room. There will be a new Viking Spirit, not one of pillage, plunder, rape, and robbery; but of righteousness, justice, peace, and boldness to speak God’s Truth in love. Let the leaders say, as David said in 2 Samuel 24:17:

“[We] have sinned; [we], the shepherd[s], have done wrong. These are but sheep. What have they done? Let Your hand fall on [us] and [our] famil[ies].”

And may it be as in Isaiah 11:2:

The Spirit of the Lord will rest on [them]—the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord.

That there will also be a spirit of ministry to serve one another and the people of Sweden with true servant leadership.

Mar 052016

Valletta, Malta

(Feb 29-Mar 3, 2016)

Day One

We arrived in Malta and went to the home of our host. There we were given a briefing on the history of the island, which had suffered many invasions, and miraculously fought some off. Malta was also the most bombed place in World War Two. Our host also shared that, based on the research of Bob Cornuke, the likely real place of Paul’s shipwreck landing was not at St. Paul’s Bay, but just five minutes’ walk from the apartment where we are staying. So we took a walk down there, and began Malta OCE where Paul had come ashore. Jeremiah 10

Day Two

We had a morning meeting at the Happy Hive Café (a Christian owned and run coffeehouse). We started with a time of worship. In fact, it is believed that worship will be a key to praying in Malta. As we prayed, the issue of identity surfaced very quickly. Of the four Maltese people in attendance, two had exhibited a problem to simply identify themselves as being from Malta or Maltese, instead they had each launched into a description of their foreign roots. So we prayed and honored their identity as Maltese.

The grand-master Jean de Valette

The grand-master Jean de Valette

We had a prophetic word to pray at the low places, so our prayer walking strategy targeted the low places of the high city of Valletta. We started walking at the City Gate that has been rebuilt in a modern, open style, and walked a large circle route around the city center. We walked past the Prime Minister’s Palace and noticed that in the garden there was a fountain springing up like an artesian well.

We prayed at the War Rooms, which had been tunnels of refuge from the bombardment of cannon fire from invading ships, and more recently bombings of World War Two. Malta, as noted above, was the most bombed place in all the war.

Then we walked along the Grand Harbour to the Lower Barrakka Gardens where we prayed and had a time of worship. One Maltese man told of a vision he had:

He saw an underwater bomb. He explained that this was once how they made bodies surface from the water so that they could receive a proper burial. Then he continued that from that deep underwater bomb he saw ripples coming out of a central point and going out, getting bigger and bigger.

The Maltese saying: “Go find a Turk1” was redeemed in song thusly:

Go find a Turk

And tell him about the Lord.

Go find a Turk

And love him in the Lord.

Praying at the Siege Bell

Praying at the Siege Bell

We sang and laughed and prayed into the Maltese identity of hospitality (as in Acts 28) and healing. We noticed another fountain in the middle of the garden, with water springing up.

Next we looked across to the Siege Bell, which had been used to warn of invasion forces. As we finished our prayers there, a softer bell sounded as if a joyous bell in the place of that alarm bell.

After praying there, we proceeded on to the Knights Hospitaller Convalescent Center. There we prayed for an end to the secrets, secrecy, and secret societies; to bring all the secrets into the light. Even though these Knights Hospitallers (Knights of St. Johns) are very different from the Knights Templar, nevertheless, secrets are not good for a place that has suffered in secrecy and from secrecy.

Then we walked to the Grand Master’s Palace / Presidential Palace, so named because it had been the palace of the Grand Master of the Knights and then was the Presidential Palace. In the piazza in front of the Palace there was another fountain with many places where water was springing up. We stood outside the Palace and watched the changing of the guards (which is significant—a change of the old guard!). Then we entered the courtyard and there in the garden we prayed. One teammate made a prophetic declaration for Malta:

I bless you with leaders who transmit life, in which they show favor to you and through that they open doors to you. I bless you with leaders who are steadfast and ask discipline and eagerness of you. I bless you with leaders who are a good example to you in relationship to other people. I bless you with leaders who make a way for you in difficult situations. I bless you in the name of the One who goes before you.

Finally, we walked to the Parliament building, which is by our starting point at the City Gates. There we prayed, and one person noticed that the door marked “No Entry, MP’s only!” was opened. One of the Maltese men in our group entered in the door. There was another prophetic act in which a small Bible was placed on top of the Parliament sign, declaring that all the laws and acts coming from Parliament will be done under the Word of God and under God’s authority. One teammate noted later that the Bible was gone from the place, so we prayed that the Word would be planted deep into someone’s heart.

Day Three

We started the day again at the Happy Hive Café, and a local Maltese pastor and his wife, among other locals, joined us. After a time of worship and prayer, the pastor encouraged us to look for the hidden things, not just those things that appear on the surface. Because there are many secret things that lie hidden under the surface. He also prayed for the Maltese people to receive an apostolic anointing. Then as a group we prayed for one of our Maltese hosts, commissioning her before she leaves the next day for a mission trip to Rwanda and possibly also for Uganda—on a one-way ticket.

After lunch we went to the Hypogium to go deep in prayer—under the earth, that is. We had prepared in advance by praying and writing Bible verses onto small slips of paper. Inside was carefully controlled, with a guide always with us. Nevertheless, we were able to get the papers into places, and to sprinkle salt to purify in every part of the Hypogium. One teammate asked the Lord how to pray inside with the guard watching and so forth. The Lord answered, “It’s enough that you’re here.” After the tour we gathered and prayed on the sidewalk just outside the door, then one teammate made a prophetic act of spitting on the doorstep of the Hypogium, as a sign of rejecting the death spirit and goddess spirit of that place.

Some of our group attended a local prayer meeting at the house of one of a Maltese couple. The worship and prayers flowed in the Spirit. This group has been meeting for several years. No doubt it is because of their prayers that Malta has been an easy place in which to pray.

One of the German members of our group knelt on the floor at the prayer group meeting. Without planning it, she was at the feet of three Maltese. One person asked her to tell them about her ministry of reconciliation. She explained that as a German, she feels led to pray and ask forgiveness for what her country did to their country. What the Germans did to Malta was to incite Italy to attack Malta. So she prayed and repented on behalf of the German people for what her country did to Malta. This was an important step before we leave Malta.

Day Four

In the morning we joined a Charismatic Catholic prayer group for a time of prayer and worship. We shared the vision of OCE and they prayed for us.

After lunch we went to the far side of the Grand Harbour from Valletta and prayed in several places:

By the water we prayed about all the people that had lost their lives in the harbor and read:

Psalm 29 – Honor the Lord, you heavenly beings; honor the Lord for His glory and strength. Honor the Lord for the glory of His Name. Worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness. The voice of the Lord echoes above the sea. The God of glory thunders. The Lord thunders over the mighty sea. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic. The voice of the Lord splits the mighty cedars; the Lord shatters the cedars of Lebanon. He makes Lebanon’s mountains skip like a calf; He makes Mount Hermon leap like a young wild ox. The voice of the Lord strikes with bolts of lightning. The voice of the Lord makes the barren wilderness quake; the Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh. The voice of the Lord twists mighty oaks and strips the forests bare. In His Temple everyone shouts, “Glory!” The Lord rules over the floodwaters. The Lord reigns as king forever. The Lord gives His people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace.

Isaiah 27:1 – In that day the Lord will take His terrible, swift sword and punish Leviathan, the swiftly moving serpent, the coiling, writhing serpent. He will kill the dragon of the sea.

Ezekiel 29:2-4 – Son of man, turn and face Egypt and prophesy against Pharaoh the king and all the people of Egypt. Give them this message from the Sovereign Lord: “I am your enemy, O Pharaoh, king of Egypt—you great monster, lurking in the streams of the Nile. For you have said, ‘The Nile River is mine; I made it for myself.’ I will put hooks in your jaws and drag you out on the land with fish sticking to your scales.”

Ezekiel 32:2 – Son of man, mourn for Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and give him this message: “You think of yourself as a strong young lion among the nations, but you are really just a sea monster, heaving around in your own rivers, stirring up mud with your feet.

Fortress of Knights of Malta

Fortress of Knights of Malta

At Land’s End at Fort St. Angelo we searched for the place where it is said that the Jews had been chained. We didn’t find any obvious place, but we did pray, repenting for the innocent Jewish lives sacrificed there.

In the enclosed garden area at the corner of Fort St. Angelo one of our Maltese hosts prayed in Malti, releasing a lot of things. As she prayed one of us commented that she could hear whispering all around us that stopped as the prayers finished. At the end of her prayers a bell rang in the distance, and simultaneously there was the boom as of a cannon. We all rejoiced loudly.

Inside the Fort we were waved off by the guards, saying that the Fort is closed. But a couple of us pleaded to be let in just for a moment to take a picture while a couple of others distracted the guards. The rest of us prayed outside the door.

At the Inquisitor’s Palace, again we found it closed, so we prayed inside the waiting room between the Museum and the Tourist Office.

We ended the day, praying at the Provence Gate that had been the stronghold of the French Knights.

After all this we went to the Happy Hive for a light supper there.

1Said when one is angry, as if to say: “take your anger out on a Turk, not on me.”

Mar 052016

Nicosia / Lefkosia

(Feb 27-28, 2016)

Day One

We were wonderfully hosted by the local Christians the day before starting the prayer.
We met with the pastor of our host church first thing in the morning. The prayer room was set up with a prophetic centerpiece: a map on the coffee table, covered by almond blossoms and a lamp. Key prayer points included division, invasion, brokenness, witchcraft curses, and identity. We also prayed for the pastor before he had to return to house guests. Then we strategized about where to pray in the old city.

Before going to the old city, we stopped to see a key person in the peace process. We listened to the person’s job description and other particulars, then prayed and prophesied. That this person was able to see us was nothing less than miraculous, and there was trust where there could have been fear, suspicion, or paranoia. Because this person is so key to the process, it is very important to keep the identity a secret. It is likely that this person is being watched, bugged, and possibly even followed. We prayed for angelic agents to intervene where human agents with bad intent might interfere with the peace process. It was very clear that our visit encouraged this person very much and helped to reduce the level of stress associated with the job.

Next we went to the Ledra Museum Observatory on the eleventh floor of the Shacolas Tower. On the way, we passed through the Paphos Gate of the old city and prayed there. We placed an almond blossom as a prophetic act. At the Tower we divided into teams and prayed into each of the four compass directions, with particular focus on the occupied north. The ticket seller came to speak to our group, and we shared that we are praying for her country. We asked for her prayer requests, and at the top of her list, what she said first was a Solution, meaning reunification. We also prayed for her, personally.

Breakdancing in front of police

After lunch we crossed the checkpoint into the occupied northern part of the city, locally called Lefkosia. Almost immediately after we all got through there was a demonstration marching toward us. They passed us, stopped just short of the checkpoint, and began breakdancing. So we watched and prayed. The marchers consisted of people from both sides of the border, demonstrating for demilitarizing Cyprus. The police just stood and watched. After dancing for about ten minutes, they quietly dispersed.

Team praying around the wall

Team praying around the wall

Then we walked to the St. Sophia church, which has been turned into a mosque (one of the most prominent things that we had seen from the Tower). We decided to divide into two teams to walk around the church, praying. One team went clockwise, the other counter-clockwise.

After the church we went to the Bandabuliya Market, which is the old city market, and walked through it. The market had been shut for many years, and was a sad shadow of what it must have been in pre-occupation times, but we agreed that at least they had tried to revive it.

Next we went to the second of the three gates, the Kyrenia Gate, where we prayed and placed another almond blossom. While we rested there, we noticed on the map that the Turkish Cypriot Parliament and the Turkish Embassy were just across the street from one another, and that they were very close to the Gate where we were. So we decided that this was a strategic place to go and pray to cut off the connection between Turkey and Northern Cyprus.

There was a lot of traffic on the street between the Parliament Building and the Embassy. We prayed and planted another almond blossom. While we prayed the door to the Parliament had stood open. When we finished, a man came out the door, shut and locked it, and walked away. We felt that this was significant as a message to us that soon this occupation parliament would shut down and let the real Cypriot Parliament handle the ruling of a reunified Cyprus.

Day Two

We attended the pre-service prayers at New Life Church. The prayer meeting was well-attended, and the prayer time was so good, and filled with prophetic words and visions, especially for the church’s upcoming move from their stable building into a tent.

The youth led the worship, which was very anointed. The pastor called our group up, prophesied over us, and invited others to do likewise (on paper for those with picture prophecies or who felt shy to speak a prophecy). It was very encouraging! It looked like at least one person from each family came up to give a word, either to an individual or to the whole group, even children. Then we were blessed and sent out for our last day of prayer walking.

We started at the Presidential Palace, praying by the exit gate. One thing that was prayed was that the puppet strings of those controlling the President behind the scenes be cut, and in fact, those strings were also seen as chains. We expect to see changes in his presidency.

Then we walked a short distance across the road to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It was felt that the approach to foreign affairs was xenophobic due to the island being partly occupied. So we prayed to break off all fear and mistrust of foreigners, and that righteousness, especially with regard to refugees, become their response and way of dealing with foreigners.

Praying in front of parliament

After that we walked to the Parliament Building, which didn’t look at all like we had expected. The front door was an automatic-opening glass door with a smiling sun. A face on the sun is a pagan symbol for the sun god. This and other elements became part of our prayers for the Parliament of Cyprus. We poured water across the threshold as a prophetic act. And we read the following passages for Cyprus:

Isaiah 51:9 – Wake up, wake up, O Lord! Clothe Yourself with strength! Flex Your mighty Right Arm! Rouse Yourself as in the days of old when You slew Egypt, the dragon of the Nile.

Isaiah 51:17 – Wake up, wake up, O Jerusalem! You have drunk the cup of the Lord’s fury. You have drunk the cup of terror, tipping out its last drops.

Isaiah 52:1-3 – Wake up, wake up, O Zion! Clothe yourself with strength. Put on your beautiful clothes, O holy city of Jerusalem, for unclean and godless people will enter your gates no longer. Rise from the dust, O Jerusalem. Sit in a place of honor. Remove the chains of slavery from your neck, O captive daughter of Zion. For this is what the Lord says: “When I sold you into exile, I received no payment. Now I can redeem you without having to pay for you.”

Isaiah 52:8-10 – The watchmen shout and sing with joy, for before their very eyes they see the Lord returning to Jerusalem. Let the ruins of Jerusalem break into joyful song, for the Lord has comforted His People. He has redeemed Jerusalem. The Lord has demonstrated His Holy Power before the eyes of all the nations. All the ends of the earth will see the victory of our God.

Isaiah 11:1-5 – Out of the stump of David’s family will grow a shoot—yes, a new Branch bearing fruit from the old root. And the Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him—the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding, the Spirit of Counsel and Might, the Spirit of Knowledge and the Fear of the Lord. He will delight in obeying the Lord. He will not judge by appearance nor make a decision based on hearsay. He will give justice to the poor and make fair decisions for the exploited. The earth will shake at the force of His Word, and one breath from His mouth will destroy the wicked. He will wear Righteousness like a belt and Truth like an undergarment.

Nehemiah 5:11-12 – “You must restore their fields, vineyards, olive groves, and homes to them this very day. And repay the interest you charged when you lent them money, grain, new wine, and olive oil.” They replied, “We will give back everything and demand nothing more from the people. We will do as you say.”

Acts 19:19 – A number of them who had been practicing sorcery brought their incantation books and burned them at a public bonfire. The value of the books was several million dollars.

Then we walked to the Famagusta Gate and found there a celebration of the Congenital Heart Disease Association’s ten year anniversary. As we began to pray, we were interrupted by volunteers from the Heart Association who invited us inside for refreshments. We told her that we would come inside in a moment, and she was satisfied. Perhaps they were hoping for a better turnout than what they had. We prayed at the Gate, and then pouring out red wine in and opening the hasp of the Gate in prophetic acts.
