After a wonderful time of very anointed worship, we had a really good discussion.
One person had a vision of a lion statue laying down with its head up. The statue had been neglected. The heraldic symbol of Finland is a lion. Another person pointed out that the Central Square has a lion statue. It is inside the former parliament building, which had been abandoned as a meeting place because of the rumor of bad decisions being made there. The building is covered with Egyptian symbols, which is Freemason. The building is currently under renovation until 2017, and even the front steps had been removed and replaced.
There is a flag of the lamb at the cathedral, where they have the 12 apostles on the roof. The cathedral is Lutheran, and the Lutheran church of Finland has made some very bad decisions and compromises.
Isaiah 32:1-4 & 16-20 was proclaimed for Finland and its leaders:
Behold, a king will reign righteously and princes will rule justly. Each will be like a refuge from the wind and a shelter from the storm, like streams of water in a dry country, like the shade of a huge rock in a parched land. Then the eyes of those who see will not be blinded, and the ears of those who hear will listen. The mind of the hasty will discern the truth, and the tongue of the stammerers will hasten to speak clearly.
Then justice will dwell in the wilderness and righteousness will abide in the fertile field. And the work of righteousness will be peace, and the service of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever. Then my people will live in a peaceful habitation, and in secure dwellings and in undisturbed resting places; and it will hail when the forest comes down, and the city will be utterly laid low. How blessed will you be, you who sow beside all waters, who let out freely the ox and the donkey.
Helsinki was founded by a Swedish ruler who forced the people to move here. The first capital was Turku. After the Turku fire, the Russians made Helsinki the capital.
In the first church of Helsinki there was a grave. Now the church is in ruins, but the grave is decorated, its letters gilded. This is also Freemason witchcraft.
And Amos 3:7-8 for the lion of Finland, which seems to be sleeping. A counterfeit lion does injustice.
Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets. The lion has roared—who will not fear? The Sovereign Lord has spoken—who can but prophesy?
There are 2 statues to the Russian rulers, Alexander I and Alexander II, both of whom were considered to be good rulers.
There is a statue of a lady wearing a bearskin in front of a lion at the Justice Palace.
There is a statue of Marie (the same person as Mariehamn) at the Market Square with a 2-headed eagle that had recently been gilded. This forms a leyline with the Justice Palace.
In current events, Russia is very much a threat. It used to be that Finnish people would laugh if you said that Russia is a threat, but now they understand it to be true.
Also in current events, the Foreign Minister (a Christian) participated in the Jesus March and spoke at the event about the importance of prayer. The PM is also a Christian.
At the Swedish Embassy there is the double-headed eagle atop an obelisk. This creates a leyline with the statue of the woman in a bearskin (Russian and Freemason witchcraft influences). So we prayed to cut off the influence of both and to cut all division. We prayed to cut off the Swedish influence, too. We prayed for Finland to shake off outside influences and to embrace change.
We prayed for Finland’s true identity, based on Daniel 1:8:
Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way.
Judges 7:20 was proclaimed, too:
. . . they shouted, “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!”
As we prayed this, one teammate saw a sword come down and divide the 2-headed eagle in 2.
We prayed that Finland would resist the spirit of confusion, and resist transgressions against its borders. Finland has been too tolerant in the past, and needs to be firm and to set good boundaries.
We also prayed to reveal any unhealthy covenants as the one between Joshua and the Gibeonites (Joshua 9). And that Finland would not reveal all its treasures to outsiders as Hezekiah did (2 Kings 20) because Finland has been taken with cunning.
One interesting thing about the Finns was revealed to us by a local. She said that Finns hate to be separated from the group. In fact, they have a saying: “Finland will never act alone.” Finland has been waiting to see how Sweden decides about NATO.
Then we walked to the House of the Estates, which had been the original parliament building and was abandoned due to rumors that bad decisions are made in it. The House of the Estates had been established under Russian rule. We prayed for right things in Finland, and that foreigners will no longer decide Finland’s future. Finland will decide things for themselves, declaring that Psalm 95:10 will no longer be true of Finland:
For forty years I was angry with that generation; I said, “They are a people whose hearts go astray, and they have not known My ways.”
One teammate had a vision of a pair of hands that were somehow crossed or confused. So we prayed against confusion.
The lion and the other lady wearing bearskin are inside, but the building was locked, so we couldn’t get in to see the statue.
As we were praying into Finnish identity, there was a gay couple sitting on a bench nearby, caressing continually while we prayed. Then they got up and walked away and another couple of lovers took their place.
We proclaimed courage to the government leaders and freedom to Finland. We prayed that the Finnish people would be liberated from the Russian, Swedish, and Freemason framework box. We proclaimed forgiveness and release for Russia and Sweden. We blessed Russia and Sweden, and prayed to make Finland a blessing to these countries—in a right way. And that God’s Justice and Righteousness will rule (this last prayed in Finnish).
We prayed, proclaiming cleansing and purification for the building and for the Finnish government—all demons and evil spirits out!
We prayed for Finnish people to find the boldness to deal with the past, no matter how “not nice” they may consider it. We prayed for the bearskin to fall off the Finnish lion, and for holy boldness. We countered the covenant with death and lies, and prayed that all lies will be revealed. We prayed for discernment for recognizing half lies, and for God’s wisdom and discernment to know how to act against lies. We prayed for the desire to change, to embrace change, and for clear explanations.
One teammate had a vision of a new constitution that is purely Finnish and written by Finns.
We declared that the battle of the Finnish heart will be won—Finished! And that Finland will embrace its identity. The Lion of Judah will rise up here. We prayed according to Isaiah 57:9-10, that Finland will stop going to foreign kings:
You sent your ambassadors far away; you descended to the very realm of the dead! You wearied yourself by such going about.
Finally, we prayed to break all the bad rumors and bad decisions and bad agreements here. We prayed that every decision will be good and right, with the good of Finland in mind, Isaiah 28:14-22:
Therefore, hear the word of the Lord, O scoffers, who rule this people who are in Jerusalem, because you have said, “We have made a covenant with death, And with Sheol we have made a pact. The overwhelming scourge will not reach us when it passes by, for we have made falsehood our refuge and we have concealed ourselves with deception.” Therefore thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone, a costly cornerstone for the foundation, firmly placed. He who believes in it will not be disturbed. “I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the level; then hail will sweep away the refuge of lies and the waters will overflow the secret place. “Your covenant with death will be canceled, and your pact with Sheol will not stand; When the overwhelming scourge passes through, then you become its trampling place. “As often as it passes through, it will seize you; for morning after morning it will pass through, anytime during the day or night, and it will be sheer terror to understand what it means.” The bed is too short on which to stretch out, and the blanket is too small to wrap oneself in. For the Lord will rise up as at Mount Perazim, He will be stirred up as in the valley of Gibeon, to do His task, His unusual task, and to work His work, His extraordinary work. And now do not carry on as scoffers, or your fetters will be made stronger; For I have heard from the Lord God of hosts of decisive destruction on all the earth.
Then we walked to the Lutheran Cathedral. The church should have led Finland in standing up for what is right, and in not compromising with Russia and Sweden. Instead, the church led Finland into self pity. Now the church needs to lead Finland in taking their identity again.
One local teammate told us that the water pipe had broken in the church and the water flooded out the front door and down the stairs. Water speaks of purification.
The Finnish teammates prayed and confessed and repented for the fear of man, self pity, and blaming their leaders. We proclaimed 2 Timothy 2:24-26 for the church leaders:
The Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do His will.
We thanked God for the scandal that woke up the church, and said that the early church foundations must be dug up, especially the pharisaical: rituals, appearance, legalism, etc. We prayed for new wine to be poured into the church: pour Your Spirit on the church! And we prayed to break every Masonic tie with the church.
Then we walked back to the leylines crossing and declared Isaiah 28:20:
The bed is too short to stretch out on, the blanket too narrow to wrap around you.
And read Psalm 2:
We proclaimed that fear of the Lord is coming upon all the unrighteous people that have made unrighteous pacts. We broke the power of the leylines and declared Isaiah 58:12:
Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.
The Parliament Building (currently under extensive renovations) will reopen in time for the 100 year Jubilee. They will meet in the newly renovated building in 2017. We proclaimed Jeremiah 31:2-6:
Thus says the Lord, “The people who survived the sword found grace in the wilderness—Israel, when it went to find its rest.” The Lord appeared to him from afar, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness. “Again I will build you and you will be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel! Again you will take up your tambourines, and go forth to the dances of the merrymakers. “Again you will plant vineyards on the hills of Samaria; The planters will plant and will enjoy them. “For there will be a day when watchmen on the hills of Ephraim call out, ‘Arise, and let us go up to Zion, to the Lord our God.’”
Proclamations for Finland to be in Finnish and Swedish at the Parliament building. Praying for a new building, like the original, without any outside influences. Finnish laws for Finnish people.
Tomorrow Henning will preach here at the Andreaskyrkian on the identity of Finland, the crown jewel, using Zacharias 9:16:
The Lord their God will save His people on that day as a shepherd saves his flock. They will sparkle in His land like jewels in a crown.
Finnish people are peacemakers. They hosted the first European peace conference in the1970’s.
One teammate observed that on the map, Helsinki looks like a dove that has been shot by a shotgun. Then we made a list of proclamations to make at Parliament:
Malachi 3:18 & 4:2-6
Song of Songs 2:13-14 –
Micah 3:5-7 –
Proverbs 22:28 – Do not move an ancient boundary stone set up by your ancestors.
Matthew 7:20 & 24-27
1 Peter 2:4-8
Finland’s real name (what they call themselves) is Suomi. Finland is what foreigners call them. Finland has a lion’s heart. So we prayed and prophesied over each Finnish teammate. One teammate anointed them.
At the Parliament building, we could see that the whole thing is under fabric covering. One local teammate told us that renovations will cost more than expected—maybe even double. They also said that there were certain dangers for the construction workers. We proclaimed Psalm 91 for the protection of Parliament and Finland under the shadow of God’s wings, and that beauty will be revealed when the scaffolding is removed:
Jesus, the Alpha and the Omega, is the only One strong enough to really bring about the needed changes.
Prayers and proclamations in Finnish:
Thank you to God for the believers in Parliament, Matthew 7:24-27 (see above).
Prayers to raise up prayer for leaders and intercessors to stand in the gap for Finland.
1 Peter 2:4-8 (see above).
Forgiveness for past unjust decisions here, especially with regard to Israel.
Psalm 122:6-9 (in Swedish) – Pray for the peace of [Finland]: “May those who love you be secure. May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.” For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, “Peace be within you.” For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your prosperity.
Bless Finland with leaders who really care for the flock: steadfast and righteous shepherds. Isaiah 32:1-6
Prayer that now that the stairs are gone, they will be returned cleansed and like new.
Isaiah 52:1-2 that gender equal marriage be annulled—seems impossible, but all is possible with God: Awake, awake, Zion, clothe yourself with strength! Put on your garments of splendor, Jerusalem, the holy city. The uncircumcised and defiled will not enter you again. Shake off your dust; rise up, sit enthroned, Jerusalem. Free yourself from the chains on your neck, Daughter Zion, now a captive.
Prayer that the church will take its place as leader of the nation. Restore prayer for government in the church.
1 Timothy 1:1-2 (in Swedish):
Isaiah 62 for the identity of Finland (in Finnish): For [Finland’s] sake………
Jeremiah 31:2-6 (personalized to Finland).
We also prayed that they would give space inside, one room in the Parliament building for a team of intercessors.
Then we walked to the back of the building, where there was a metal construction tunnel that formed the temporary entrance to the building.
Psalm 40 to draw Parliament and the government out of the miry clay:
And proclaimed Isaiah 60:
Malachi 3:18 & 4:2-6.
Then the Finnish teammates sang a prophetic song for Finland, ending with a joyous shout.
We ended the trip with a lovely dinner prepared by a Finnish teammate.
